Finnish metallers KALMAH have issued the following update:
“Last weekend we had massive training session. Velski [new keyboardist Veli-Matti Kananen] and Lede [bassist Timo Lehtinen] travelled up north and we gathered at our rehearsal room. At first we finalized the set for Meh Suff and then concentrated on the new pieces. There is five more or less ready and three that needs to be finalized. So it is 8 all in all. Sounds like we have material for a new album..:)
“We also had a short discussion/planning session with the director of our next music video which will be shot late September. Hopefully we get ‘Ruska – autumn colors’ time for the video since it will take place among the most beautiful Finnish wilderness. We are really looking forward to it.”
The first photo of the new KALMAH lineup can be seen below.
Keyboardist Marco Sneck left KALMAH last summer after seven years and three albums with the band.
KALMAH‘s sixth album, “12 Gauge”, entered the official chart in the Finland at position No. 15. The CD was recorded between June and August 2009 at Tico Tico studio in Kemi, Finland and was mastered at the Cutting Room in Sweden.
