AMADEUS AWAD: Inks Deal With Melodic Revolution Records

Multi-instrumentalist and progressive rock and metal composer AMADEUS AWAD from Beirut, Lebanon, has signed a record deal with Melodic Revolution Records. The following statement was released on their website :

Melodic Revolution Records is proud to announce the signing of Amadeus Awad a Progressive Rock & Metal guitarist and composer, as well as multi-instrumentalist, music producer and sound designer from Beirut, Lebanon. Amadeus is most notable for being the first Middle-Eastern rock artist to collaborate with an American artist along with other renowned foreign artists and is proudly dubbed by the western media as the Arjen Lucassen of the Middle East.

“Time Of The Equinox” is Amadeus Awad‘s second release and was originally self released in January of 2012 with 13 tracks. “Time Of The Equinox” will be re-released June 18th via Melodic Revolution Records and features the brand new bonus track “Immortal Dunes”. Amadeus is not one to sit still, he is already working hard on a couple of new release’s including his third release The Book of Gates under the name of “Amadeus Awad’s Eon” which will feature Amadeus Awad, Elia Monsef, Samer Zouein, Patrick Stephan, and some very special artist like Russell Allen, Amanda Somerville, Timo Tolkki and Kevin Moore.

“The Book Of Gates” is a concept album, telling the story from the land of the Pharaohs, Egypt. Here follows a description behind the meaning of the artwork:

Spiraling into the depth of deception, hypocrisy and greed, the characters of The Book Of Gates travel through the fabrics of Life and Death’s epiphanies.
The quest for immortality, dictated by false doctrines and promises of lying priests, places a huge political burden on the reign of the pharaohs.
The Book Of Gates, the tale of a union separated by an abyss of psychological turbulence and the alliance of opposites.
Main characters :
- The Pharaoh (In The Tomb).
- The Queen (Statue In The Middle).
- The Necromancer (Transparent Wolf).
- The Keeper Of The Gates (Black Wolf).

Lebanese guitarist, AMADEUS AWAD has recently announced “The Live Equinox” tour dates for supporting his newest album “Time Of The Equinox” which released on 13th January 2012.The band will be playing a last show in Lebanon before heading to Dubai to promote and release the internationally acclaimed album “Time Of The Equinox”
