SOUL OF STEEL: New Album “Journey To Infinity” On Bakerteam Records

Bakerteam Records has issued as follows:

SOUL OF STEEL have signed a deal with Bakerteam Records for the release of their new album, following the critically acclaimed debut ‘Destiny’ (2010) and a solid live activity in their native country of Italy.

Following the path created by fellow Italian bands such as Labyrinth and Vision Divine, Soul Of Steel bring to the table a compelling mix of Melodic Power Metal, Progressive Rock and majestic Symphonic passages. ‘Journey To Infinity’ was produced by Olaf Thorsen (Labyrinth, Vision Divine), mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni (DGM) and features very special guest appearances by Roberto Tiranti (lead singer of Labyrinth) on the stunning acoustic version of the song ‘Last Desire’ and Alessio Lucatti (keyboardist of Vision Divine) on the song ‘Eternal Life’.

The album evolves around a dreamlike journey of a man trying to escape his demons, which was brilliantly portrayed on the cover artwork by Nerve Design (Threshold, Eldritch, Vision Divine). ‘Journey To Infinity’ will be available starting from April 23rd, 2013.

STRAIGHT ON TARGET: Debut Album ‘Pharmakos’ On Bakerteam Records

Scarlet Records announces that STRAIGHT ON TARGET have signed a deal with Bakerteam Records for the release of their debut album ‘Pharmakos’.

The band debuted in 2011 with the self-produced EP ‘Mediocritas’, a powerful, straightforward Deathcore attack which was able to attract very positive reactions from fans and critics alike, but they are now ready to unleash all their fury with a furious full length release. ‘Pharmakos’ combines ferocious vocals, super-heavy riffs, bonecrushing blastbeats and killer breakdowns in the vein of bands such as Aborted, The Acacia Strain, Whitechapel, Impending Doom and Molotov Solution among others, still keeping the focus on strong songwriting and meaningful lyrics. Straight On Target will tour extensively to promote the album.

MALNÁTT: New Album ‘Principia Discordia’ On Bakerteam Records

BAKERTEAM Records has issued as follows:

MALNÁTT is an Italian black metal band formed in Bologna , Italy in 1999. They are the first and only extreme metal band who have introduced an accordion in the line up and, and before many others, female screaming vocals, trumpets and lyrics in Bolognese dialect. People were astonished by the extreme contrast between their humorous approach and obscure lyrics, focused on decadent poetry, death and nihilism. The band was also chosen to play themselves on a very successful episode of the popular Italian TV show ‘L’ispettore Coliandro’, a crime fiction broadcasted on the national TV networks.

‘Principia Discordia’ was recorded and mixed at Domination Studios in San Marino , with the artistic supervision of renowned musician Simone Mularoni (DGM, Empyrios). ‘Principia Discordia’ moves away from the folk approach of the early albums to focus on much more extreme and experimental sounds. The lyrics take their inspiration both from the great Italian poets and the band’s mastermind Porz himself, who enjoys writing hermetic songs struck between suicide and irony. ‘Principia Discordia’ will be released December 3rd, 2012 on Bakerteam Records. BEJELIT: Signed to BAKERTEAM RECORDS Roster

Italian BEJELIT has issued the following:

Power/Thrash metallers Bejelit have signed a deal with Bakerteam Records for the release of their fourth full length album ‘Emerge’.

Bejelit debuted in 2004 with the critically acclaimed album ‘Hellgate’ and since then they’ve built a solid reputation by releasing two more top-notch efforts and hundreds of shows all over Europe, most notably their 2008 and 2011 appearances at Slovenia’s Metal Camp festival.

Bejelit have just finished the recording sessions for the new album, which is going to be mixed at Sonic Pump Studios, Finland, by Nino Laurenne (Apocalyptica, Ensiferum, Sonata Arctica, Amorphis). The beautiful artwork was handled by Seth Siro Anton (Paradise Lost, Exodus, Moonspell, Kamelot). A Spring 2012 release is expected. Check out www.bejelit.com for more news.

CADAVERIA Signs With BAKERTEAM RECORDS

CADAVERIA, the Italian band featuring former OPERA IX vocalist Cadaveria and ex-OPERA IX drummer/NECRODEATH vocalist Marçelo Santos (a.k.a. Flegias), has inked a deal with Bakerteam Records, a division of Scarlet Records which aims “to discover and offer support to the best talents of the hard rock and heavy metal international scene.” The group’s long-awaited follow-up 2007′s “In Your Blood” (released on French extreme metal label Season Of Mist) has been described by Cadaveria as “the most obscure, raw and horror-filled work ever produced by the group.” An early 2012 release is expected. Scarlet Records has created and launched its own partner label, Bakerteam Records, which aims in discovering and offering support to the best talents of the hard rock & heavy metal international scene. The new label will benefit from all the distribution channels and promotional tools that have made Scarlet one of the most established labels out there, focusing primarily on up and coming sensations that aspire worldwide exposure.

The first two Bakerteam releases will be debut albums from Israeli band Red Rose (25 October 2011) and Italian band The Ritual (14 November 2011).

Red Rose blends Melodic Hard Rock, Classic Heavy Metal and Pomp Rock keyboards in an elegant and refined shape in the vein of Royal Hunt. Recorded at Jailhouse Studios with renowned Danish producer Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Jorn), ‘Live The Life You’ve Imagined’ is a thrilling and memorable record from the first to the very last song.
