Swedish doomsters The Gardnerz have unveiled the track list and artwork, which comes courtesy of Daniel “Devilish” Johnsson, for their recently completed EP, entitled It All Fades. Guitarist Wilhelm Lindh comments on the EP, which is a follow up to the band’s debut, The System of Nature. “This time around the songs are a bit slower and darker than on The System Of Nature, we tried to continue on the path we have chosen. We have found our niche and have no reason to stray, so if you liked our first release you will like this. This time it was a bit more of a group effort and I think that made the songs stronger.”
Swedish modern metal band ONE WITHOUT is making its new EP, “Numbers”, available over a four-week period, with one song released for free each week through the online music promotion platform
While it’s quite a tease for only being a 3 song EP, each respective song packs its own mega punch. The lead track “Oscillate” was exclusively premiered via Got-Djent.com, and received much praise for DESPITE EXILE’s unique onslaught of progressive/technical metal with memorable melodies. The 2nd track, “Perfection Neutralized”, saw its exclusive debut in form of a music video via BlankTV, which has already seen 21,000+ views and counting. Some dub the video as the best BlankTV upload in months. Last but not least is the album closer “Mechanical”, which is one of the most melodic songs the band has written, but don’t let the prettiness fool you as there are still plenty of razor sharp riffs, crushing breakdowns, and blast beats galore. Re-Evolve surely shows DESPITE EXILE up there with the big dogs.
