SPV has issued that the Swedish Metal band FULLFORCE has released a new video clip for the song “Awesomeness”. The clip can be found below.

FULLFORCE: ‘Next Level’ Details Revealed

Swedish melodic metal five-piece FULLFORCE will release its second album, “Next Level”, in North America on November 27 via SPV/Steamhammer. The cover artwork was once again be created by Rainer Kalwitz, who previously worked with PRAYING MANTIS and METAL CHURCH, among others.

“Next Level” was mixed and mastered at Roastinghouse Studios in Malmö, Sweden by Anders “Theo” Theander. The CD contains 13 songs of “melodic, heavy” metal and the band is really excited it, according to a press release.

FULLFORCE New Album To Be Released In October 2012

SPV/Steamhammer has issued the following:

Swedish melodic Metal five piece FULLFORCE are currently recording their second album. The new album will be entitled “Next Level” and will be released worldwide via SPV/Steamhammer in October 2012.

Rainer Kalwitz is once again recruited to create and organize the artwork who previously made covers for Praying Mantis, Metal Church plus many more.  “Next Level” will be mixed and mastered at ROASTINGHOUSE STUDIOS by Anders “Theo” Theander which is one of Sweden’s leading recording studios.

FULLFORCE introduces new guitar ace Stefan Rosqvist who replaced CJ Grimmark a few months ago. Please feel free to check out a short video showing the new guitarist at work in the studio here:

13 songs to be featured on “Next Level” and the band promises a melodic, heavy album and the band is really excited about the new album and cannot wait to introduce to their fans and the world of metal.

FULLFORCE Parts Ways With Guitarist, Announces Replacement

FULLFORCE — the Swedish melodic metal outfit featuring Mike Andersson (CLOUDSCAPE, SILENT MEMORIAL, PLANET ALLIANCE) on vocals, Stefan Elmgren (HAMMERFALL) on guitar, Anders Johansson (HAMMERFALL, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on drums and Tommy Larsson (HEED) on bass — has parted ways with guitarist Carl-Johan Grimmark (NARNIA) “due to some changes in [Grimmark's] life situation which he had to put priority to.”

During the last few months, FULLFORCE has been focusing on writing the songs for its second album and also searching for the best possible replacement for Carl-Johan, both musically and personally. Finally the search is over and FULLFORCE has introduced guitar ace Stefan Rosqvist (ex-DAWN OF OBLIVION, LALE LARSSON).

Commented FULLFORCE: “Stefan Rosqvist is a very talented, versatile guitarist and musician and the band is really excited to have him onboard.”

FULLFORCE has almost finished the songwriting for its as-yet-untitled second album and is planning to enter the recording studio during the summer.

“Open Your Eyes”, the new video from FULLFORCE — the Swedish melodic metal outfit featuring Mike Andersson (CLOUDSCAPE, SILENT MEMORIAL, PLANET ALLIANCE) on vocals, Stefan Elmgren (HAMMERFALL) on guitar, Anders Johansson (HAMMERFALL, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on drums, Carl-Johan Grimmark (NARNIA) on guitar, and Tommy Larsson (HEED) on bass — can be seen below. FULLFORCE — the new Swedish melodic metal outfit featuring Mike Andersson (CLOUDSCAPE, SILENT MEMORIAL, PLANET ALLIANCE) on vocals, Stefan Elmgren (HAMMERFALL) on guitar, Anders Johansson (HAMMERFALL, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on drums, Carl-Johan Grimmark (NARNIA) on guitar, and Tommy Larsson (HEED) on bass — recently filmed a music video with director Rainer Holmgren (PAIN OF SALVATION). The clip will make its online debut on May 12.

FULLFORCE inked a worldwide deal with SPV/Steamhammer. The band’s debut album, “One”, will be released on June 20 in Germany, June 23 in the rest of Europe and June 28 in USA/Canada.

Commented Andersson: “After being in contact with a few interested labels during these last months, we are happy to announce the decision of becoming a part of the SPV family! SPV is a label with great metal tradition and it’s an honor for FULLFORCE to join forces with them for the release of our debut album, ‘One’. In SPV we see a good vision and a great future for FULLFORCE… this is the best thing that could have happened to us!”

Added SPV A&R representative Olly Hahn: “There are always reservations regarding bands with ex-members of well-known bands, but with FULLFORCE it’s different. SPV signs worldwide deal with Swedish metal outfit FULLFORCE – debut album “One” out in June 2011.

FULLFORCE was formed in 2009 and now consists of members Mike Andersson (Cloudscape, Vocals), Stefan Elmgren (ex Hammerfall, Guitars), Anders Johansson (Hammerfall, ex Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Drums), CJ Grimmark (ex Narnia, Guitars) and Tommy Larsson (ex Heed, Bass). The Swedish five-piece started to write songs in order to complete their debut album and they describe their music to be a genuine blend of traditional, catchy heavy metal to more updated melodic metal with some ethnic touches which will make them a standout to within the genre. The band truly believes in their music and in late 2010 they completed the recording of 12 songs to be included on “One”.

Please note: FULLFORCE is not intended to be a project! The band is aiming to do lots of live gigs and touring…it’s a real band with the ambition to record more albums over the coming years!
