Gods Of Metal announces that with the addition of AXE WOUND to the Gods Of Metal roster, the bill is now complete!!
AXE WOUND will play on June 22 between Ugly Kid Joe and Cancer Bats.
Gods of Metal adds: “Let’s start the countdown to the most expected italian heavy metal summer festival!!! As previously announced, for the 4th Gods of Metal Festival days (June, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th – Fiera Milano Live Rho) it will be possible to overnight at “Camping Village Città di Milano”, the festival official camping; it’s located in Via Gaetano Airaghi, 61. “Camping Village Città di Milano” has modern facilities like bar, restaurant- pizzeria, pic- nic area, 50 bungalows of various kinds , 244 places for campers and tents, games area, washing- machines area, sport equipments, little zoo with some animals from the farm. For the 4 days, 1 or 2 busses (with 55 places for each one) will be available (outward voyage in the morning and back at end of the show). The departure site will be at the camping reception. The round-trip ticket will cost 6 euros per person. ATTENTION: Booking a bungalow or a place for a camper or a tent is necessary to overnight!! Today we are pleased to announce the confirmation of CANNIBAL CORPSE, BLACK VEIL BRIDES and LIZZY BORDEN in the bill of the most important rock italian festival: Gods Of Metal 2012! CANNIBAL CORPSE return to Italy at Gods Of Metal 2012, June 21 (MANOWAR headlining). After participating in the 2010 edition in Turin, the American band will return to give us great music and great growl experience. The ultimate death metal band will introduce us songs from the new album “Torture” (out in March 13) as well as the classics that made them famous around the globe. Welcome back CANNIBALS!!! Reunited BLACK SABBATH – who late last year confirmed the recording of their first new album in more than 33 years and a worldwide headlining tour – have had to put some plans on hold due to Tony Iommi’s battle with lymphoma. Tony unfortunately won’t be able for touring and deserves all our sympathy and our deepest love, wishing him a speedy recovery. OZZY OSBOURNE will now perform the majority of the previously scheduled BLACK SABBATH dates billed as OZZY & FRIENDS. These “first ever” OZZY & FRIENDS shows will feature appearances by “special guest” musicians including GEEZER BUTLER (who will join Ozzy for a special BLACK SABBATH set as a show of respect and support to their friend, Tony Iommi) and longtime former OZZY band member Zakk Wylde. In addition, OZZY will be accompanied by longtime collaborator and friend Slash at select shows, with other “special guests” set to join the tour at various stops along the way. GODS OF METAL 2012: June 24th, ticket holders
All GODS OF METAL Sunday 24th June ticket holders, which does not want to attend the day, are allowed to use the same ticket for one of the other three days of the festival (21 or 22 or 23 June) at their choice. This is valid both for regular / pit tickets for 4 days ticket. In order to change the ticket, they need to go the store from which they purchased it and ask for a change with a ticket / subscription for the same amount valid for another day (at their choice) or by paying a subscription for an amount exceeding the difference.
The long-awaited GODS OF METAL -4-days-Festival in Milan-Italy (Arena Fiera 21-24 June 2012), where BLACK SABBATH (in the original line-up!) will be one of the deadliners, has got new names on the Festival-bill.
