HEIDENFEST: Running Order Announced

In the last couple of years, the Heidenfest turned out to be a unique and not-to-be-missed tour package when it comes to the biggest names in the field of heathen/viking metal and bands offering you the best in between war anthems and drinking horn frenzy! Which is why the 2012 line up looks like the wet dream of every heathen metal warrior again: WINTERSUN, KORPIKLAANI, VARG, TROLLFEST and KRAMPUS will enter the European clubs from October 19th on. Furthermore FINNTROLL as well as EISREGEN (GER-shows) and ARKONA (NL-show) will be involved at the extended shows.

It took mastermind Jari Mäenpää of HEIDENFEST headliners – mighty genre legends WINTERSUN from Finland – exactly one album to write epic metal history: “Wintersun” came out in 2004 and will be followed by a new milestone called „TIME I“ soon. The wait is almost over…

The Heidenfest 2011 European tour launched on September 30th and runs through October 23rd, featuring FINNTROLL, TURISAS, ALESTORM, ARKONA, TROLLFEST and SKÁLMÖLD. WINTERSUN, DORNENREICH and TODGELICHTER appear on select dates.
