Boston rockers MASS will be donating all of this year’s download proceeds of A Very Merry X-Mass to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The two-song release is available via iTunes here and features ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ and ‘Grown Up Christmas List’. Audio samples are available at the link above.

On Tuesday, November 6, a benefit concert was held in NYC for Amnesty International and the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy relief fund. The house band, led by guitarist Todd Youth, performed a set of Bad Brains covers, joined by a wide variety of guests, including legendary Bad Brains frontman H.R., country singer Steve Earle, John Joseph of the Cro-Mags, Kyp Malone of TV On the Radio, Vernon Reid of Living Colour…and Killswitch Engage‘s Jesse Leach. You can watch video of Jesse singing “I Against I” below.

Killswitch Engage will launch a North American tour on November 24, on which they’ll be performing their Roadrunner debut, Alive Or Just Breathing, in its entirety – find a show near you!

AEROSMITH, BON JOVI, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, BILLY JOEL, STING, CHRISTINA AGUILERA and JIMMY FALLON were among the performers who will take part in NBC’s concert last night (November 2nd) to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy. Money collected will go to American Red Cross relief efforts.

Cartoon Network’s Metalocalypse death metal heroes DETHKLOK‘s North American headlining tour with MACHINE HEAD, ALL THAT REMAINS and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER has had another date cancelled: October 31st at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA. The show has already been rescheduled for the end of the tour on December 11th.

The US and Canadian North East has been battered by Hurricane Sandy, so fans are suggested to check band websites and social media sites for any other adjustments to the tour.

The second KISS Kruise is setting sail October 31st to November 4th, 2012 from Miami, FL to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Norwegian Pearl, but Hurricane Sandy may affect its departure.

An update reads: “We are aware that Hurricane Sandy is affecting many of your travel plans getting to Miami this week. We’re working with Norwegian Cruise Line to delay our departure time from Miami on Wednesday as well as an alternate destination port to allow guests to meet the Kruise on Friday should they miss their Miami embarkation.

We hope to have more information to you by tomorrow afternoon, but please know we’re putting all efforts into making sure this long-awaited vacation is everything it should be. Please note, there are no plans for a change of departure from Miami on Wednesday, only a potential delay of a few hours to accommodate guests arriving late. Thanks for your patience while we explore our best options. If you need to contact Sixthman while you’re traveling, please call us at 877-379-9183.

The weather forecast for the Bahamas and Caribbean looks beautiful for our vacation so do your best to get here safely and know we’ll be looking forward to seeing you.”
