Metal Shock Finland Utilifest Project: Announces New Media Partnership With METAL CROWD FESTIVAL 2013

Metal Shock Finland is proud to announce a new media partnership with METAL CROWD FESTIVAL 2013. The festival takes place in Belarus on August 24th – 25th.

The festival organisers provide a little more background information about the festival, which has been going since 2005:

“METAL CROWD is held every summer in Rechitsa (Gomel Region, Belarus), which is considered to be one of the oldest cities in the Republic (it was mentioned for the first time in 1213). The place itself is situated on the outskirts of the city: Sport complex “NADEZHDA” st. Svetlogorskoe Highway,1 (near the forest). Rechitsa is situated on the banks of the river Dnieper. The fest is held in a location with a picturesque landscape.

 METAL CROWD FESTIVAL is the name of the biggest international festival of extreme music, which annually gathers together more than 40 groups from all over the world on one stage.  A world practice of organization of large scales festival was taken as the basis for our festival. And our country tries to prove that the movement of extreme music is also developed here. The festival is greatly supported by the fans of extreme music and people from all over the world come to the city when the fest is held.“

The bands taking part this year are: SUIDAKRA, SYBREED, ILLDISPOSED, NETHERBIRD, CHAIN REACTION, LITTLE DEAD BERTHA, BANISHER, RAW IN SECT, BILL SKINS FIFTH, CLAYMORDS.

Today’s bands (December 23rd) is LAMB OF GOD.

ILLDISPOSED: New Album Lands On Danish Chart

“Sense The Darkness”, the new album from Danish extreme metallers ILLDISPOSED, has entered the official chart in the band’s home country at position No. 78. Released on September 21 via Massacre Records, the CD was recorded at Antfarm Studio in Aabyhøj, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (MOONSPELL, DARK TRANQUILLITY, GOREFEST, SICK OF IT ALL). The artwork was created by Mircea Gabriel Eftemie (MNEMIC).

ILLDISPOSED To Enter Studio Next Month

Danish extreme metallers ILLDISPOSED will enter Antfarm Studio in Århus, Denmark on May 18 with producer Tue Madsen (MOONSPELL, DARK TRANQUILLITY, GOREFEST, SICK OF IT ALL) to begin recording their new album for a late 2012 release.

ILLDISPOSED last year parted ways with guitarist Franz Hellboss and replaced him with Ken Holst.

The band’s most recent album, “There Is Light (But It’s Not For Me)”, entered the official chart in the band’s home country at position No. 78. Released on April 1, 2011 via Massacre Records, the CD was recorded at Antfarm with Tue Madsen.

ILLDISPOSED‘s previous album, “To Those Who Walk Behind Us”, entered the official chart in Denmark at No. 32. This was the group’s highest-ever chart position in Denmark.

The “There Is Light (But It’s Not For Me)” artwork was created by Lasse Hoile, who previously worked with ILLDISPOSED on the “1-800 Vindication” and “Burn Me Wicked” releases.
