MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilmister plays “President Lemmy” in the trailer for Troma Films“Return To Nuke ‘Em High Vol. I & II”, the fourth movie in the studio’s other most successful franchise that kicked off in 1986 and has become one of many bona fide cult classics to endure throughout the years. Also set to appear in “Return” are such Troma mainstays as Debbie Rochon and porn movie legend Ron Jeremy.

A sequel to the 1986 cult classic “Class Of Nuke ‘Em High”, “Return” tells the tale of young lovers Chrissy (Asta Paredes) and Lauren (Catherine Corcoran) and their battle against the Tromaville glee club, which has mutated into vicious Cretins, and the evil Tromorganic Foodstuffs Conglomerate.

The “Return To Nuke ‘Em High” poster was designed by Justin Osbourn of Slasher Design and can be seen below.

MOTÖRHEAD has entered the studio with longtime producer Cameron Webb to begin recording the follow-up to 2010′s “The Wörld Is Yours” for a tentative late summer release. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include “Outsider” and “Silence When You Speak to Me”.

A photo from the studio can be seen below.

MOTÖRHEAD released “The Wörld Is Ours – Vol 2: Anyplace Crazy As Anywhere Else” in Germany on September 21, three days later in the rest of Europe and October 9 in North America via UDR/EMI. The follow-up to 2011′s “The Wörld Is Ours – Vol 1: Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else” features the band’s 2011 Wacken Open Air headline appearance as well as highlights from Sonisphere (United Kingdom) and Rock In Rio (Brazil) shows.

MOTÖRHEAD‘s latest album, “The Wörld Is Yours”, sold 7,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 94 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band’s previous effort, “Motörizer”, premiered with 6,400 units back in 2008 to debut at No. 82, while 2006′s “Kiss Of Death” registered a first-week tally of 3,500.

Since 1996, MOTÖRHEAD has been cranking out a new studio album every two years. But it’s been three years since their last album dropped, The Wörld Is Yours, and their forthcoming untitled disc (thirteenth overall) will break that trend.

“We’ve got eleven songs so far,” explains longtime  MOTÖRHEAD growler/bassist Lemmy Kilmister. “I’m just writing words to them at the moment, and putting bass and vocals on the tracks. So we’ll see – it will take a little while. It’s going all right though. I did two tracks yesterday.”

Confirmed song titles that Lemmy was willing to offer up are ‘Outsider‘ and ‘Silence When You Speak to Me‘. Also, Cameron Webb is confirmed as the album’s producer (the same gentleman that has either produced or co-produced the last few MOTÖRHEAD albums). When asked about a release date, Lemmy simply replied, “We’ve got to get it out by the end of the summer.”

Lemmy was also willing to discuss a few recent non-musical MOTÖRHEAD projects, including Motörheadphones. “Somebody said, ‘What about some Motörheadphones?’ And we said, ‘OK!’ There’s not much of a story to that.” Lemmy also explained the difference between Motörheadphones and other popular artist-endorsed headphones, such as Beats by DR. DRE. “It’s a change from the hip-hop stuff. It’s for people that like to hear all the instruments, not just the bass drum and the bass guitar.”

And let’s not forget the recently unveiled alcoholic beverage, Shiraz, of which Lemmy pointed out is only the first of several additional selections on the horizon. “Oh, we’ve got vodka and bourbon coming soon. Old snakebite bourbon. We have a range of intoxicants.” As of now, Motörhead Shiraz is only available for retail purchase in Europe, but Lemmy hopes that stateside sippers will soon be able to wet their whistle. “We’re trying to see if there are any independents [distributors] to try and get a hold of. There aren’t many of them left. So we’ve just got to play it by ear and see what happens.”

Lastly, Lemmy was willing to give his two cents about the current state of rock n’ roll. “Rock n’ roll will be OK. Rock n’ roll feeds on itself. The Top 40 is always crap, and the good stuff is in the garage. It’s just that nowadays, you can’t have a straight breakout, because people have bought up all the rock stations. And the genius and greed – they fuck it up, you know? Because ELVIS couldn’t happen now like he did in the ’50s. He couldn’t happen now, because he had a regional hit in Louisiana and away he went. But he couldn’t do it now, so it’s a shame. It’s been taken away. But there are other opportunities that open up as some go down – it will always be OK. There will always be some spotty, pissed off band in a garage somewhere, with cheap Japanese guitars, ready to bash your head in – as it should be.”

Lemmy will be appearing with his rockabilly band, the HEAD CAT, on March 10th, as part of the 6th Annual Musink Festival, in Costa Mesa, California.

MOTÖRHEAD is turning it up to 11 on February 1 with the release of Sacrifice Shiraz Bag-in-Box. This is the world’s first Bag-in-Box for the rock ‘n’ roll world… and it ain’t any old box either! Modelled to look exactly like a guitar amplifier, this is a unique, iconic packaging from “the world’s loudest band” that unreservedly demands its place on the wine shelf.

“Can you decorate your rock’n'roll table with something better? No, I would not believe so,” says Mikkey Dee, MOTÖRHEAD‘s drummer.

“About 60 percent of the wine consumed in Sweden is from Bag-in-Box, which makes Sweden the world’s largest consumer of box wine. Naturally we want to provide the rock fans the same range of packaging choice,” says Yvonne Wener, head of Brands For Fans.

Brands For Fans is an importer and distributor specialized in launching wines and drinks from bands, artists and other strong brands. Within Brands For Fans, there is a passionate interest in music, popular culture with a lot of experience in working with the wine and spirit-trade and collaborating with strong brands. Brands For Fans are also specialized in viral and digital marketing, product and concept development and planning, realizing and following up on events.

As previously reported, MOTÖRHEAD‘s signature wine — which made its debut in Sweden in 2010 — has sold more than 300,000 bottles since it was launched.

The Australian Shiraz has been carefully selected by the hard rock legends and has been described as a wine with a fruity aroma, flavors of vanilla, blackberries, plums, eucalyptus and liquorice, but with soft rounded tannins. Or, as Lemmy Kilmister, lead singer, bass player and founder of the band, puts it: “My advice is — approach it with caution. I mean, wine is deceptive, anything can happen.”

Grammy-award winners MOTÖRHEAD are Lemmy Kilmister (bass and vocals), Phil Campbell (guitar) and Mikkey Dee (drums). Formed in 1975, the band has released a total of 21 studio albums. The band’s most recent album, “The Wörld Is Yours”, was released in February 2011, while two deluxe live albums/DVDs titled “The Wörld Is Ours” volumes 1 & 2 were released to huge acclaim in 2012.
