Kaotoxin is proud to announce that recently reformed PUTRID OFFAL have been confirmed to this year’s cult Grindcore summer festival Obscene Extreme in Trutnov, Czech Republic where they’ll bring on stage all the voracious ferocity of their just released debut full-length in 25 years, “Mature Necropsy“.
The band also just announced the addition of Laye Louhenapessy to the line-up as their official skin brutalizer behind the drum kit. Laye is no stranger to Kaotoxin fans as he’s none other than the drummer for DEHUMAN whose second full-length, “Graveyard of Eden” is currently available for preorder (release date is set to March 09).
Laye’s live premiere with PUTRID OFFAL will be no later than this Sunday (Feb.15), for the live-in-the-studio recording the band will be performing for French cult radio show Killing Machine.
Putrid Offal are already confirmed for the following gigs and more will be announced soon:
- Feb.15 – FR – Villeneuve d’Ascq – Radio Campus
- May.23 – BE – Roulers – Unideath Fest II
- Jul.08-12 – CZ – Trutnov – Obscene Extreme
- Sep.10-12 – DE – Andernach – Death Feast
Kaotoxin Records is proud to announce a licensing deal with The Crypt to release the vinyl LP version of PUTRID OFFAL’s Premature Necropsy. The LP will be released through The Crypt sometimes in late 2015/early 2016 as a 500-copy limited edition first press (250 on colored vinyl) with exclusive liner notes. The 2014 demo version of “Suffering” from the collector EP of the same name will be included as a bonus track.
Premature Necropsy consists of the band’s early 90s discography, which comes as a bonus CD with their just released Mature Necropsy debut full-length (500-copy limited edition first press), and features their 1991 Unformed demo and split with Agathocles, 1991 Premature Necropsy split LP with Exulceration and 1992 Obscurum per Obscurium six-way split CD with Supuration (among others).
Kaotoxin Records has recently announced the inking of a multi-album deal with recently re-activated Grindcore band from France, PUTRID OFFAL.
The band is in the process of re-recording their entire back-catalogue along with bonus material. The yet untitled release, which will be mastered at the Conkrete Studio (Otargos, We All Die (laughing)) will come as a 1000 copies limited-edition, double DigiSleeve CD with a remastered collection of all of the band’s past works as they’ve been released back in the day. Subsequent pressings will not feature the “old-school version.”
