Scott Stapp rose to prominence in 1997 when “My Own Prison”, the debut multi-platinum Creed album, kicked off Scott’s musical journey in spectacular style. As the lead vocalist and sole storyteller, Scott sculpted his own aesthetic. From the start, his spiritual conflicts galvanized a worldwide audience. Three other mega-selling records followed: “Human Clay” (1999), “Weathered” (2002) and “Full Circle” (2009) in addition to Stapp’s successful solo venture, “The Great Divide” (2005). Awarded a Grammy in 2001 for his number-one hit, “With Arms Wide Open,” Scott was celebrated, in the words of one Rolling Stone writer, as “a singer with an enormous emotional range and a composer of startling originality.”
To support the tour, ROCKETT QUEEN will relaunch and re-release their 2011 EP, “Goodnight California”. The EP features the hard-driving anthem “I Hate You” and the band’s poeticsensibilities shine through on “Since You’ve Been Gone”. Along with “I Hate You” and “Since You’ve Been Gone”, “Goodnight California” features the songs “Day Break”, “To be Loved”, “Goodnight California” and the addition of two new tracks, “Hey God” and “Attitude”

Storming out of East Texas, Rockett Queen burst onto the scene in 2003 and has since been a force with which to be reckoned. Fronted by charismatic, explosive lead vocalist/guitarist Walter Lee, and driven by the untamed Jay Scars on lead guitar, Chaz Graves on bass, and Seven on drums, they have cultivated immense recognition and rave reviews.
Not every band can boast the title “Best unsigned band in America”… Rockett Queen can. Rockett Queen quickly earned the title “Best Unsigned Band in America” by winning the contest that led their hit single “The Next Big Thing” to be featured in the full length film “John Tucker Must Die.” This earned them a spot on the soundtrack along with The All American Rejects, Cartel, Ok Go and many more. With the buzz building, it wasn’t long before MTV beckoned and featured “The Next Big Thing” in their hit TV show “Newport Harbour”.
Rockett Queen has persevered playing thousands of shows for over 25,000 fervent fans with artists including Hinder, Powerman5000, Fuel, The All American Rejects, Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Story Of The Year, Bowling For Soup, Coheed and Cambria, Thrice, Bad Religion, The Sounds, Senses Fail, My Chemical Romance and Thursday, in addition to multiple stops on the Vans Warped Tour.
Rockett Queen is preparing to unleash their new record in 2015. The tentative first single from the album, “Time Bomb”, was co-written by Walter Lee, Zac Maloy and Reid Henry (My Darkest Days). The forthcoming, yet to be titled record is being recorded in Nashville, Tennessee with producers Zac Maloy and Rockett Queen’s Walter Lee. The record will be mixed and mastered by Derek Taylor and will feature notable guest appearances by Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean) and Neil Tiemann (Shinedown, David Cook).
