Spectral Darkwave seamlessly weave through elements of death metal with an emphasis on doom, and meld everything together with the clever use of synths and various keys creating a sound that quite literally is out of this world. It’s cold, it’s dark, it’s evoking… and as the band themselves comment: “Last First Contact will unleash a journey into the many hells of mankind, with each song forming an exhibit in the grotesque gallery of human endeavour. The album weaves a tapestry of horror wrought on the cries of bereft mothers, nuclear strikes and epic orchestral flourishes.”
