Swedish USURPRESS has issued the following update:
On the 8-10:th of March we will record material for a new split-7″ with BENT SEA. Our side will contain a new song called “A Tidal Wave of Fire” and it’s the longest and most complex song we have ever written. The song is about 6:30 min long and is divided into 3 parts: i: Empty Triumphalism, ii: Dark Satanic Mills, iii: The Styx Runs Dry
This time we will record it in Calle’s little home studio in our rehearsal place. The studio is called Is Charged and it’s something he has slowly built up over the passed two years. Our good friend, and Påhl’s brother by the way, Erik Sundström will help us out with recording and mixing.
The band we will share the EP with is, I as mentioned, BENT SEA; they are a new grind/death-band inspired by old fast gangs such as Terrorizer, Extreme Noise Terror and so on. The band consists of Sven ”Svencho” de Caluwé (Aborted, Leng Tch’e, etc) – vocals, Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork, Devin Townsend, etc) – guitar/drums and Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Unseen Terror, Brujeria, etc) – bass. As you probably understand by these names, we’re talking quality here. Check them out here: http://www.bentsea.com
