PAUL WARDINGHAM Releases Cyber Metal Single “Beyond Human”

“Beyond Human” is out now. It is the first single from Paul Wardingham’s upcoming cyber metal album The Human Affliction, set for release late 2014, on Enigmatic Records. The official music video can be seen below.

Described as instrumental cyber metal, Wardingham’s style combines 7-string mechanical riffing, melodic choruses, industrial synths and otherworldly solos to create visions of a futuristic world.

“The inspiration for Beyond Human is really the question, what makes us human? What does it mean to be alive? In the future as we merge with technology biologically, will we at some point cease to be human?” said PAUL WARDINGHAM. “It’s been 3 years since my debut album and I’m very excited to finally release this new single Beyond Human.”

Paul Wardingham’s debut solo album “Assimilate Regenerate” released through Enigmatic Records, received critical acclaim, and praise from metal guitar legends Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) and Jeff Loomis (Nevermore, Conquering Dystopia) among others. He’s also known as one half of the Collins/Wardingham Project, a collaboration with Australian drum phenomenon Grant Collins. Their progressive metal fusion album “Interactive” was released in 2006 through Enigmatic Records.
