Volbeat releases a new album “Beyond Hell/Above Heaven”

Volbeat, Danish metal R’nR Band, releases in these days its fourth album, “Beyond Hell/Above Heaven”, 10th september in Germany and today in most parts of Europe via Vertigo/Universal. The CD was recorded at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen. The cover artwork was created by illustrator Karsten Wrysand and can be viewed below.

The guest appearances on “Beyond Hell/Above Heaven” by Mercyful Fate guitarist Michael Denner, Napalm Death’s Mark “Barney” Greenway and Kreator’s Mille Petrozza. Additionally, Jacob Oelund of Taggy Tones and songwriter Hanrik Hall visited the studio to lay down some swinging double bass and harmonica.
