AMON AMARTH has set “Surtur Rising” as the title of its eighth studio album, due on March 29, 2011 via Metal Blade Records. Frontman Johan Hegg told Terrorizer magazine, “Obviously, the songs are going to be AMON AMARTH — that’s what we’ve always done — but we wanted to put a little more edge to our sound, so hopefully that’s going to come out after the mixing and everything. We’ve laid down ten tracks, and as is usual for us, every one of them is going to end up on the album.”
