Tuska Open Air Metal Festival has issued the following update:
The 14th annual Tuska Festival which takes place at Suvilahti, Helsinki, Finland, has announced more artists. One of the new additions are the American psychedelic doom act JEX THOTH. The newly introduced Fourth Stage which displays more extreme and marginal sides of metal, has also first bands confirmed; black metal group CAVUS, post-hardcore act LIGHTHOUSE PROJECT, bass&drum duo CAUSE FOR EFFECT, Estonian GORESOERD and Finnish up and coming grindcore outfits GAF and FEASTEM will be showing the ropes.
Tuska-festival has won “Happening of The Year” award, an annual award given out by The Finnish Guild OF Travel Writers to facets who contribute to tourism in Finland. An excerpt from the press release: “Tuska festival has always had an international slant, attracting visitors to Finland who would never otherwise have the chance to discover us”.

Tuska 2011 tickets will go on sale on Monday 31.1. at www.tiketti.fi and www.lippupalvelu.fi. Advance tickets: 1 day 60 euro, 3 days 110 euro. Ticket agency fee wiil be added to all advance ticket prices. Tickets at the festival box office (if not sold out in advance): 1 day 70 euro, 3 days 125 euro.
