KATATONIA: iPhone / iPad App Released

Sweden’s KATATONIA has issued the following update:

“Some of you might have missed that there is a KATATONIA dedicated iPhone/iPad app to grab. All features that Katatonia.com have can now also be found in the app and there’s also a smooth integration between Facebook and Twitter accounts. Furthermore, this free app will be expanded on the following areas: songs (full songs to be on rotation), videos (hooked up directly to our YouTube account), photos (hooked up directly to our Flickr account), tour dates (all upcoming shows with ticket links) and maybe most important of all — the very latest news of the band delivered to you as they happen. KATATONIA‘s May 6, 2011 concert at Koko in London, England was professionally filmed/recorded for a future DVD release. The show, which was part of the 20th-anniversary “Last Fair Day Gone Night Tour 2011”, saw the band perform two sets. The first set consisted of a performance of the entire “Last Fair Deal Gone Down” album front to back. The second set was a mixture of carefully picked songs from the band’s extensive catalogue.
