TUSKA 2011: Info about 3-day tickets, Wristbands

TUSKA OPEN AIR METAL FESTIVAL has issued the following press release:

Tuska Open Air Metal Festival taking place in Suvilahti, Helsinki, Finland over the weekend of 22.-24.7. has a new policy regarding Three Day festival tickets. All Tuska Festival Three Day tickets will be exchanged for a wristband at pre-exchange points or at the festival gates before entering. Three Day wristband allows you to leave and re-enter the festival area during the festival day.

One Day tickets will not be exchanged for wristbands. One Day ticket allows you to enter the festival area only once.

– Pre-exchange point on Thursday 21.7. is located at the TIKETTI ticket office, Urho Kekkosen Katu 4-6 next to Tavastia Club and is open 12:00-19:00 hrs.

– Pre-exchange point on Friday 22.7. is located at the Tuska-festival area main gate by the ticket sales booth in Suvilahti, Kaasutehtaankatu 1, and is open 10:00-12:00.

– After festival gates open at noon on Fri 22.7., Three Day tickets will be exchanged for wristbands at the entrance gates while electronically reading the tickets. This is likely to cause slight queing, please have some patience.

– Sales of Three Day tickets and electronic tickets at LIPPUPALVELU will end on Wednesday 20.7. in the evening. One Day tickets will be available at LIPPUPALVELU normally.

– ALL ticket categories will be available through TIKETTI webstore (www.tiketti.fi) and Tiketti sales points (seelist at http://www.tiketti.fi/en/info/contacts).

– All ticket categories will be available at the festival area box office (Door price: Three Day ticket 125 e, One Day ticket 70 e) until sold out.

NOTE! Tuska Festival is not responsible for lost or damaged tickets and wristbands. In problem situations regarding advance tickets, contact the ticket agency (Tiketti or Lippupalvelu) where you purchased the said ticket or the festival box office.

Three Day Tuska-ticket or pre-exchanged wristband gives you free entrance to Tuska Pre-Club at Tavastia on Thursday 21.7. featuring Verjnuarmu and Old School (RU).

Other official Tuska evening clubs will take place at DOM and VIRGIN OIL CO. and at the Club Stage/Kattilahalli in Suvilahti. Advance tickets to official Tuska clubs from Tiketti and festival box offices.

Traditionally Tuska collects funds from the VIP-guests for several charity organizations. This year the funds will go to SETA ry (LGBT rights non-governmental organization) and Teemu Raimorannan Rahasto, a fund facilitated to support promising talents in the metal music industry.
