STEVE FOGLIA: Debut album “Revenge” released

STEVE FOGLIA, born in Sanremo (Italy) in the 1985, comes out on the scenes for the first time with his concept album, focused on an Italian mysterious Hotel situated in Bordighera.

The drummer Steve Foglia, makes his debut with a solo album “Revenge” that have many collaborations with Italian and international artists. The record will be available for Ombrosa Records (Indipendent Italian label). The presentation and showcase will take place November the 17, 2011, at 7pm, in Bresca Caffè in Sanremo (Italy).

The album concept is about a fascinating story, between reality and legend, of a very famous Italian Hotel situated in the Ligurian Riviera (Bordighera), The Angst Hotel, that between the XIX and XX century, was one of the most prestigious and elegant hotel of all Europe.

The album contains ten songs for all kind of music from hard rock to heavy metal with funky and jazz contaminations; guest stars are present, like Michael Vescera (ex Yngwie Malmsteen and Loudness frontman), Adam Bomb (singer and guitar player that played with John Paul Jones, Geoff Tate, Chuck Berry), Simone Guerrucci (solo album “Out of yhe blue).

“I always was attracted by legends and stories from the past”, says Steve. “I always heard a few unbelievable stories about the Angst Hotel in Bordighera, so one day I decided to learn more about its history. And I asked myself why don’t let more people know about the history of my land? What’s better then music?! I’ve started to work on in it in 2009 with the aid of many musicians friends, and also thanks to international guest stars as Mike Vescera and Adam Bomb”.

Steve Foglia’ s education is followed by Roberto Gualdi , Christian Meyer and Andrea Marchesini; his last important clinic in may 2011 with Gavin Harrison. Steve Foglia has three bands: The Jennifer Scream (an ispirated glam rock band), Quattro Toni (cover band) and The Purple Machine a tribute band.
