The Commander In Chief has issued the following update:
The Norwegian female 7 string guitarist/singer/songwriter in Metal “The Commander In Chief” will start recording her debut album 6 days from now. She is getting help to prepare herself from 7 string guitar-master Steve Smyth (Nevermore, Testament), who is giving her private lessons.
Yesterday she made this statement on her FB page:
One week from today, I will start recording part 1 of my upcoming debut album, which will be titled “I am The Commander In Chief”! The first five songs will be recorded at The Chairworks studios in Yorkshire, UK, from November 30th to mid December 2011. The second part will be recorded in February/March 2012.
The first five songs are:
EVOLUTION, FAMOUS, LMAO, LET IT GO, THOU
The first maxi single with two of the songs will be released in the second part of January 2012!
