Sweden Rock Festival has issued the following via Official Website:

Now it’s time to start the voting in our band competition. We have selected just over 100 bands among the more than 1500 that signed up. The voting is operated by IP numbers and you can vote 1 time per day/per computer and you can vote for 5 bands or less each time. The voting round will end on January 9th so you can vote for your 5 favorite
bands every day up until then. If we suspect any kind of cheating during the voting procedure we will withdraw that band from the competition.

The 20 bands that get the highest amount of votes will go to a final voting round that will start January 16th and end February 1st.

The 3 winners will get to play at Sweden Rock festival 6-9 June 2012 and beside the gig they will also get hotel accommodation, food and drinks for the show day and of course wristbands for the entire festival. Each band will also get a 5000 SEK fee to cover travel costs etc.
