Ramin Miraftabi has filmed one of the acoustic songs of Amorphis performing an acoustic rendition of Sign from the North Side of Karelian Isthmus during their concerthall tour of Finland. This was recored in Savonlinna on 14.4.2012. Featuring multi-instrumentalist Sakari Kukko.

A trailer for “Tragic Idol”, the new album from British gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST, can be seen below. Due on April 24 (one day earlier internationally) via Century Media Records, the CD was recorded in part at The Chapel studios in Lincolnshire, England and features cover art by by Parisian designer Valnoir, who has previously worked with MORBID ANGEL, LAIBACH, ULVER and WATAIN, among others. “Here Now”, the new 11 Frames-produced video from Swedish hard rockers OUTSHINE, can be seen below. The song comes off the band’s new album, “Addiction”, which will be released on June 6 via Rambo Music, a division of Gain Music Entertainment (which is distributed and partly owned by Sony Music). The CD was recorded last fall at Grand Recordings studio in Gothenburg, Sweden with producers Svein Jensen (M.A.N, SISTER SIN, HIDE THE KNIVES, TROUBLEMAKERS, DEVILICIOUS) and Jimmy Norberg (OUTSHINE guitarist) and was mastered by Göran Finnberg (MESHUGGAH, OPETH, THE HAUNTED, IN FLAMES).
The “Here Now” single is being released today (Monday, April 16) via iTunes and Spotify.
Commented Norberg: “The album, written as an album, is more direct, straightforward and has a dark and melodic touch to it. The album has been written and recorded under great stress and agony, with two member changes, broken relationships, broken down studio work and economy crisis making it tough and time-consuming…. but in the end it turned out great. It think your hear it in the sound, the vibe and the lyrics. A perfect set-up for a dark, melancholy, powerful OUTSHINE album!”

WARCRUX are a Thrash/Sleaze band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Even though the members of Warcrux are in their early 20’s, they are heavily influenced by the eighties thrash and sleaze scene of California. They combine both sub-genres in order to put their own original stamp on the metal world.

2. First of all I’d like you to update us on what’s happening in the Warcrux camp at the moment?
We’ve got a few things going on at the moment: we’re currently gigging the new EP, which is available online from iTunes, YouTube, Reverbnation, and other online outlets, plus we’re working towards releasing a new single (which may have an unexpected surprise on it) – and we are writing new material.
