PURE RAWK has issued the following:
Winners, runners up and punters from across the country attended the Pure Rawk Awards ceremony on Friday 9th March at the Boston Music Room (London) in to celebrate a night of success for underground, alternative and new music.

Manchester’s Obsessive Compulsive swept the board on the night winning every category they were nominated in and picked up the Band of the Year, Video of the Year (for their video “Man Vs Machine”), Frontperson of the Year and Axe Hero of the Year.
London’sJonny Cola and the A Grades picked up the New Breed Award as voted for by Pure Rawk contributors and editorial. Pure Rawk’s Dave Ashworth comments: “We here at Pure Rawk HQ have high hopes for these little upstarts – it’s perhaps a bit of a tangent to what you’d normally expect from us, but we’ve dragged some of the most unlikely folk to see them these last few months, and they’ve all been converted. Classic British Pop with killer guitar riffs, this is a rarefied breed of glam pop that many thought was extinct, but their material breathes life and vitality like America never happened.”
