Aperion is a symphonic metal/hard rock band from Slovenia. They are not just one of many metal bands on the market; they are very unique band of 8 musicians. They combine a standard rock line-up with classical instruments, such as viola, flute and cello. On top of that, there is also a mysterious didgeridoo and intriguing soprano vocals.
Aperion has recently performed on the Slovenian Eurovision song contest with their introduction to the premiere of their new music video ‘Black Flies’
The video premiered on Monday, 27th of February on Slovenian national TV. The group also had a very important performance on national TV the day before the premiere.
The video was made as a result of a successful tour which followed the bands last year international release of the album ‘Act of Hybris’. In order to forever capture the magic moments on stage they created a time capsule for their fans and themselves. Watch their new music video below
All material for the music video, which was made in cooperation with Matjaž Gorican, was shot at various stages in Slovenia and abroad. The music video is dedicated to all of Aperions fans that created an amazing atmosphere at their concerts. “Black Flies fly for you!”
