To continue on the hot sunny day at theMetal Gods Festival at the Intake Club Mansfield, the metal continued with its fast heavy pace on both stages. The heat grew more intense, which was a good sign for the club with many a beer and maybe the occasional jager being consumed!

My next interview was with UK band Osmium Guillotine, their style as described by themselves – ‘Take some 80’s heavy metal, sprinkle on a handful of classic rock, a zest of 70’s punk, with just a light twist of black metal. Pour in a few pints of ale and Osmium Guillotine is the resulting mess.’ The lads played a great set despite having some technical difficulties, check out what they had to say when I caught up with them after their set:
So to my final interview of the festival, the traditional power metal band, Arctic Flame, who made the trip to the UK especially for the festival, from New Jersey, USA. The band played a brilliant set, comprising of their own material and a couple of covers from UFO and Iron Maiden, which went down well with the crowd!
Check out what the band had to say in the following video interview:
The final band finished late, or early in the morning and lots of happy metallers headed home, already looking forward to next years Metal Gods Festival!
