AEROSMITH: Bristow Concert Canceled; STEVEN TYLER Ordered To Refrain From Performing

Legendary rockers AEROSMITH announced today that their previously announced performance at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia on July 3 will be rescheduled. Singer Steven Tyler is under doctor’s orders to refrain from performing to provide vocal rest. The concert will now take place on August 12.

AEROSMITH regrets any inconvenience and looks forward to returning to Jiffy Lube Live.

Tickets purchased for the July 3 show will be honored on the August 12 date. Source: Blabbermouth.net

I would bet this had more to do with lethargic ticket sales for this show… do the math… terrible date + steep pricing for pavilion seats = pavilion 1/3 empty. Guess we’ll know if Aerosmith plays Detroit on Thursday.
