To go along with these darkening autumn nights, Finland’s ANTAGONIST ZERO release their first full-length album, Doomed, on 28 September 2012. The album is released through Violent Journey Records.

Clocking in at 40 minutes, Doomed contains five tracks of the band’s self-styled “catatonic metal” – a melodic and atmospheric mix of elements from different metal genres, such as doom, death/black and post-metal.

The album release party will be held in Helsinki and Porvoo on 28 and 29 September, respectively. Antagonist Zero will also play several live shows in Finland and abroad late 2012, for example in Riga, Latvia on 5 October and in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia 17–18 November.

The band comes from Porvoo, Finland. It’s members are seasoned musicians from the local metal underground, known from such bands as Adastra, Cavus, Coprolith and Lost in Tears.

The band’s debut EP “Nighttime Harmony” has been very well received, gathering excellent reviews from around the world.
