ASHER Media has issued that NEPHELIUM, the brutal death metal band that traces its roots back to the late 1990s from the city of Dubai, UAE and whom have now re-established themselves in Toronto, Canada for the last 10 years are proud to announce their nomination at this year’s Toronto Independent Music Awards in the Best Metal Category.

Toronto Independent Music Awards (“TIMAs”) is a bi-annual music award ceremony and showcase series for musicians in the Province of Ontario. Now on its eighth season and sixth award ceremony, TIMA has become the platform for independent musicians to network, attain tools for success and be discovered.

MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity associated with CARAS, is helping to keep music alive in schools across Canada. MusiCounts’ mission is to ensure that children in Canada, regardless of socio-economic circumstances and cultural background, have access to a music program through their school. MusiCounts includes Band Aid musical instrument grants, the MusiCounts Teacher of the Year Award, Scholarships, and other music education initiatives.
