Video footage of former NEVERMORE guitarist Jeff Loomis talking about his new JLV-7 signature Schecter guitar can be seen below.
Loomis entered the studio in June to record three new tracks. Joe Nurre (SHADED ENMITY), who plays guitar with Loomis in Jeff‘s solo band, laid down the vocals for the songs.
“After we got off our last tour with PERIPHERY and PROTEST THE HERO, Jeff and I got to talking about how it would be cool to do some heavier, death metal-type stuff with some more aggresive vocals,” Joe said. “So Jeff and I [decided to hit] the studio with producer/engineer Aaron Smith (7 HORNS 7 EYES), who also recorded and mixed Jeff‘s latest record, ‘Plains Of Oblivion’.”
