Bassist Magnus Rosén (BLACK, ex-HAMMERFALL) will travel to the Antarctic for an extreme bass concert on November 13th. Svalbard is an archipelago in the Arctic, constituting the northern-most part of Norway according to Wikipedi. It is located about 400 miles north of mainland Europe, mid-way between mainland Norway and the North Pole.
Magnus Rosén has been there before and conducted special performances. But what is very special about Svalbard is that it’s night until the sun comes up in March 2013!
Rosén states: “Let the rock spread to all corners of the earth.”
