Swedish Heavy Metallers BLACK ROSE have recently announced that they inked a deal with Doolittle Group AB. The band has also announced that they are going to release a new album, entitled “Turn On The Night” via Doolittle Group AB on January 18, 2012 worldwide.
The record company posted: “BLACK ROSE will record a video for the opening song “Rise Again” from the forthcoming album “Turn On The Night”
BLACK ROSE was formed in 1990 in Fagersta, a small town in Sweden. After a couple of member changes the first year, the line-up was stable for almost ten years. The band played lots of gigs in Sweden between the releases. The music style has been constant, even through all different music-trends that has come and gone. The style is Melodic Hard Rock/Metal, often compared to the likes of RAINBOW, YNGWIE, PRETTY MAIDS, TALISMAN, PC 69 and EUROPE. In December 2001 Shark Records got in contact with the band, a contract was signed and a 16-track CD was released late March 2002. The second release, called EXPLODE, on Shark Records was released 2004. Late 2007 two new (well, Thomas is the original BLACK ROSE-guitarist, so he isn’t that new…) members joined: guitarist Thomas Berg and vocalist Peter Thederan.

Doolittle Group AB is a new Swedish record label formed in 2011 by former Liljegren Records,Rivel Records, Feedback Records, Soulscape. Pop,Rock, Metal, Jazz, Soul,Blues & Gospel.
