On Thursday, June 6, METALLICA vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and bassist Robert Trujillo joined members of BATTLECROSS, Detroit restaurateur and entrepreneur Phil Cooley and members of the Detroit City
Council to talk about the second annual Orion Music + Morefestival, a music and lifestyle festival created by METALLICA and their friends at C3 Presents, which will take place June 8-9 at Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan.
The event featured performances from METALLICAas well as from the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, RISE AGAINST, DEFTONESand many others, plus, like last year’s inaugural edition of Orion, it boasts lifestyle elements

Hetfield and Trujillo made their first appearance of the day to introduce hometown metal band Battlecross who delivered a spot-on rendition of Slayer’s “War Ensemble” in tribute to late Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman.
