Metal Shock Finland (World Assault )

BC blackened death metal band XUL have posted a new blog entry from their cross Canada tour on TheGauntlet.com which can be read below:

“We just arrived in Hearst and all I can say is there are some really long and boring drives thus far. Skeletonwitch killed it in Winnipeg. Some chick left a hilarious note to them (I shall attach the picture of it below). After Winnipeg, we had a few days off so we went camping for a few days in Ontario. XulIt reminded me of BC a lot, except there wasn’t any mountains around. I couldn’t believe the sun hadn’t fully set till after 11pm. The mosquitoes are vicious there. They messed us up good for our show in Thunderbay. Striker played like champs and we also had a consensus that it was the best we played on tour thus far. There was a super drunk guy at the show who I sold a shirt to. Making a used car salesman look like an infant! However, I do feel a bit grimy after doing that, haha. So now we are streamlining to Montreal to hang with our good friend Tessie. She’s letting us crash at her place so that’s gonna be a nice change. We play there on Thursday so we want to get there a bit early and experience the essence of Montreal: poutines and cheap beer!! Until next time.”
