According to Bravewords.com, Atlanta, GA-based rock/metal act NORMA JEAN released their new studio album, Wrongdoers, on August 6th through Razor & Tie. Wrongdoers crashes into the Billboard charts this week debuting at #37 on the Billboard Top 200 with over 8,340 units sold in its first week out. Wrongdoers marks the band’s second highest career-charting debut in over five years since the release of The Anti-Mother. Wrongdoers also debuts on a series of other Billboard charts including #3 on Hard Rock, #3 Vinyl and #7 on Rock. The band’s previous 2010 album, Meridional (also on Razor & Tie) debuted at #45 on the Billboard Top 200.
Wrongdoers was recorded at Covenant Recording Studios in Kansas City with producer Josh Barber and was mixed by Jeremy Griffith. Wrongdoers is the band’s sixth full length album and their second Razor & Tie album to date. The album is the follow-up to the band’s 2010 release, Meridional.
