S. Langeland, the Head Jester from IN FLAMES’ official fanclub reports from the studio, where In Flames are recording their new album:
“After a really long day of hard work the other night this day turned out to be a bit different than the others so far. A short time after entering the studio Ted and Johan from AMON AMARTH dropped by for a little while, checking out the studio and talking to the band before heading back to the venue preparing for their show.
Bjorn and Niclas were working on finishing the guitars for a song while Anders was doing interviews. A few hours later Niclas left to see the Amon Amarth show while Anders, myself and a few others working with the band decided to check out DEPECHE MODE in the O2 world arena in Berlin, which appeared to be an amazing show! The show was being filmed for a DVD shoot and the atmosphere was great.
After the show, beers were in order for the guys while I went back to the studio to check how everything was going with Bjorn who was recording late in the studio that night.”

In Flames are at Köthener Strasse 38 to record the follow-up to the gold-selling Sounds Of A Playground Fading from 2011. The recording of the band’s eleventh album will continue throughout the year, and in the spring of 2014 we will have the chance to hear the result of this exciting meeting between the classic studio and the Swedish metal pioneers.
