A spoof advert promoting an album called Dad Metal is going viral across the web after being launched by comedy site Funny Or Die – view it here.

The fictional product is aimed at fathers who’ve discovered that giving life has robbed them of their own, and offers tracks that shares their pain.

Titles include Who Left The Socks In The Living Room by Aerostarr; One Book Is Enough by Vasectomy; We Will Be There When We Get There by Hemorrhoid; If I Step On One More Toy by Stroller Fire; You Were An Accident by Freedom Dethroned; and Daddy Wasn’t Hurting Mommy, We Were Doing Grown Up Stuff by Pattern Baldness.

The Funny Or Die rating suggests around 85 per cent of viewers are amused – while for about 15 per cent it’s possibly all just too close to messy, noisy home.
