Few heavy metal bands define the genre like America’s ICED EARTH. Fewer still elicit the rabid, off-the-charts fan loyalty that ICED EARTH does. “Plagues Of Babylon”, the band’s eleventh studio album, came out on January 6th via Century Media Records. Contacted by telephone during the recent fall tour as support act for VOLBEAT, Jon Schaffer and Stu Block responded promptly and with sympathy to the questions of Tarja Virmakari (interview made for Truemetal.it).

During the chat, Jon and Stu spoke about Plagues Of Babylon, it’s concept and themes.
