ROCKETT QUEEN has signed with Hyper! Active. Services, the start-up independent music marketing, promotion, talent management company in based in East Texas, with a proven, global track record. The company is owned and run by Paul Bibeau, formerly of Spitfire Records and Relativity.
Storming out of East Texas, ROCKETT QUEEN burst onto the scene in 2003 and has since been a force with which to be reckoned. Fronted by charismatic, explosive lead vocalist/guitarist Walter Lee, and driven by the untamed Jay Scars on lead guitar. Chaz Graves on bass, and Seven on drums, they have cultivated immense recognition and rave reviews of their full length debut “Too Rock For Radio.”
The band is currently writing and recording new material, co-written between ROCKETT QUEEN and Zac Maloy (songwriter to the stars, from Carrie Underwood to Orianthi; Adam Lambert to Shinedown; Michelle Branch to Blake Shelton; Cavo to Black Stone Cherry). The tentative first single from the album, “Time Bomb”, was co-written by Walter Lee, Zac Maloy and Reid Henry (My Darkest Days). Labelled as the “Best Unsigned Band in America” by MTV, that kind of talk can be difficult to live up to, but Paul feels that the band deliver the goods.
