According to Gabriel Management, SKYLINER, in partnership with Limb Music, are pleased to present to the world their highly anticipated debut, “Outsiders”.
“Outsiders” is the first calling card of a fully realized vision from this Floridian whirlwind of classic, power, and progressive metal. In the compositions, SKYLINER throws away the life jackets, providing an emotional punch to the gut centered around personal tragedy, victory, and spiritual exploration rather than latching onto the fantasy concepts often prevalent in metal descended from the traditional style. There won’t be any shelter found musically, either, as the band eschews the overproduced notion of modern metal and lets the raging riffs, fluid leads, deluge of bass, thundering drums/percussion, commanding vocals, and pulse of keyboards all flow equally together but separate, forming a unique surge of power that never leaves out the blood, rain, sweat, or tears. SKYLINER is truly a symbiosis of US and European power metal stylings, propelled by a progressive mindset. The stellar mix by Jamie King (Between The Buried & Me, Scale The Summit, Devin Townsend…) ensures that the individual voice of this music is heard loud and clear.
