Metal Shock Finland’s Utilifest Project partners at Scotland’s LES-FEST have revealed that as well as recently announcing the change of venue for Les-Fest 3, they have also confirmed a number of new acts for the event to be held at Wiston Lodge in June 2014.
Top British metal band SAVAGE MESSIAH has been confirmed as the headline act for Saturday 28th June, completing a very strong line up of metal based music for that day. They will be joined on the Saturday by HOUSE OF X, a new name perhaps to many but a band with an impeccable history.
Organiser Dave Ritchie beamed “Yeah we are absolutely delighted to add Savage Messiah to this years event. We try to pick bands that we believe can bring a captivating performance to the stage and genuinely please people and if you like your “metal” these guys will not disappoint, with a new album imminent, expect something special, from worthy headliners.”
But there is more Dave continues “We took onboard many comments made last year that the headline acts were on too late, so we are putting Savage Messiah on about 9.30 pm. However not everyone want an early night so we will finish the Saturday evening with House of X (For those that don’t know, this is a band made up of ex members of UFO).
“As musicians they may all have that excellent pedigree, but having heard their forthcoming album of all new tunes these guys are much more than a covers or tribute act. The new material is excellent, but of course what better way to close of the Saturday evening than with some UFO classics sprinkled within the set too.”
They will be joined over the weekend by Glasgow Progressive Metal band Epsilon, new British Metallers Stormbringer, highly regarded hard rockers Crash Mansion, and the “best kept secret in Rock’n’Roll, CURRAN.
“This continues our something for everyone policy with a broad range of rock and metal bands now confirmed from Death Metal right through to Classic Rock making Les-Fest 3 a must do music festival in the Summer of 2014”
