The band’s sound retains traces of the influence of QOTSA, Foo Fighters, Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Karma to Burn, Metallica, Muse, and Lamb of God, and is characterized by a powerful riffing and directed by the rhythmic groove compelling, from intense and catchy harmonies, and an effective alchemy of rock, metal and stoner. Having self-released in 2009 their first album, called Neo Evo, ADD (acronym for Avvocati del Diavolo), ADD is back on stage with their new full length album titled “A Dear Diary”, recorded in the West Link Studio in collaboration with Alessandro Paolucci, artistic producer of bands like Vanilla Sky, Baustelle, Prozac +, and mixed and mastered at Damage Inc. Studio by Dario Mollo, guitarist and producer in international projects such as Crossbones, Voodoo Hill (with Glenn Hughes), The Cage (with Tony Martin) and Noize Machine.

“A Dear Diary” is a concept album, produced also graphically as a real personal diary that contains annotations and life experiences of a hypothetical owner coming from a distant past. Each track is a transfer of imaginative memories, introduced by evocative sounds of a rarefied world as the “Dear Diary” is found in an apocalyptic future in which the earth is populated by human survivors and zombies, a real archaeological find unearthed from a distant past disappeared and which preserves traces and a vision full of meanings. The album was released the 22th April 2014 both in physical and digital format from the Italian label Valery Records and will be distributed worldwide.
