MAYHEM: Premiere ‘Trinity’

Legendary Norwegian black metal legends MAYHEM have premiered the third track taken from their forthcoming new album, ‘Esoteric Warfare’. The new track, titled “Trinity” is streaming now at Metal Insider. MAYHEM will see the release of ‘Esoteric Warfare’ on May 27th in North America (May 23 worldwide). The album will be available as a CD, Limited Edition box set, and various Lp formats here. The ‘Esoteric Warfare’ cover and track list can be found below.

In anticipation of the new album, MAYHEM recently announced the release of a vinyl 7″ single, titled ‘Psywar’. “Psywar” is streaming here. The “Psywar” 7″ is backed by “From Beyond Event Horizon”, an unreleased track taken from the band’s 2012 Budapest sessions, and will come in different editions featuring art from Zbigniew Bielak (WATAIN, GHOST, BEHEMOTH) and Costin Chioreanu (ULVER, VADER, IHSAHN, and more). ‘Psywar’ will be pressed across several different colored vinyl editions and is available for pre-order here.

MAYHEM recently announced a May headlining European tour. The tour kicks off on May 14 in Germany at Hamburg’s famous Markthalle, and will continue through ten countries before concluding in Denmark’s capital København at Pumpehuset. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
