According to Season Of Mist, Heavy metal doom legends SAINT VITUS have announced a new European headlining tour. SAINT VITUS kick off their trek on October 9 in Colmar, France and continue throughout Europe for a month, before concluding at the Hammer of Doom Festival in Würzburg, Germany on November 15. In celebration of their 35th anniversary, SAINT VITUS will be performing their widely regarded classic album ‘Born too Late’ in its entirety, plus other VITUS classics and fan favorites. An inductee into Decibel Magazine’s “Hall of Fame” (issue no. 65, March 2010), ‘Born too Late’ is widely regarded as the quintessential SAINT VITUS album.

SAINT VITUS are also embarking on their previously announced a Scion A/V sponsored, western U.S. headlining tour. The tour starts on May 8 in Albuquerque, NM, and ends in Dallas, TX on May 25. Support on the tour comes from SONS OF HUNS, and tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, March 14. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.
The band’s touring lineup is: Dave Chandler, Scott Weinrich, Mark Adams, and Henry Vasquez, the same lineup that wrote and recorded the highly regarded, comeback album ‘Lillie: F-65‘. Additionally, SAINT VITUS recently reissued two of their older records, ‘Die Healing’ and ‘C.O.D.’ The re-issues are available on CD, limited-edition double Lp, and colored vinyl gate-fold Lps here.
