Italian ARTHEMIS was formed by the guitarist Andy Martongelli in 1999. Their style is a combination of the dark side of Heavy Metal with Thrash-oriented guitar riffs, fast solos, fire-breathing catchy vocals and a massive, modern killer ground-breaking wall of sound that makes their live shows astonishing and unique. The four-piece line-up delivers extraordinarily uplifting catchy Metal, always acclaimed by the fans and the media as “Judas Priest meets Megadeth”! ARTHEMIS‘ new effort “LIVE FROM HELL” was released on May 25, 2014 on Off Yer Rocka Recordings, it’s their first ever live album, recorded at Hard Rock Hell VII in the United Kingdom, offering a face-melting, fire-breathing killer live performance.
Just a couple of days before the release, Tarja Virmakari had a long and interesting chat with the ARTHEMIS mastermind Andrea “Andy” Martongelli, talking mainly of course about “Live From Hell”. Andy spoke in depth about the background details of how the album was created, details that you can only find out by joining the conversation below:
