Italian Scenematic Exhilaration Metal™ band SOULS OF DIOTIMA has issued the following update:

As summer arrives, we want to update you, our fans and loyal supporters, about the exciting things we have been working on these past months! There is much news to tell, so grab a brewski or a Coca-Cola and read on!

Many of you have asked if our recently released song, “Sentence of the Blade,” will be included on our next album. The answer is: NO! We loved “Sentence of the Blade” so much that we decided to release it exclusively as a single. In the next few weeks, we will be releasing an original “Sentence of the Blade” video. We have partnered with the music industry’s largest music video distributor to bring “Sentence of the Blade” and all our future videos to you, through various music programs, the usual online music venues, and through our new Souls of Diotima music channel, so no matter where you are in the world, you will have access to our music!

If you’ve noticed a new presence in our band, Connie Yerbic joined us as our manager and promoter, and does a variety of things such as support vocals …including a surprise on our next album…

Now, about our next album – can you believe this is actually Souls of Diotima’s third full-length cd? We are incredibly excited to bring this album to you….we have been working literally around the clock these past months to create something we believe you will find enjoyable, intense, and extraordinary! This will be a concept album, based on a theme very close to
our hearts! We have already completed the songs for the album, and this month we are travelling to Sweden, to Magnificent Metal Music Maker Jens Bogren’s fantastic Fascination Street Studios to record the album! Naturally we will share all the details with you, so you are part of this amazing creative process. In upcoming months, we will announce the release specifics of the album. We will also let you know our official tour dates and locations. The projects we have been working on these past months truly define our musical genre of Scenematic Exhilaration Metal. You will notice that our new album contains elements of the band’s signature style and sound, but also includes surprises, striving to reach new heights, with our goals being to inspire, entertain, and create a new standard for metal.

We want your minds to explode with our new music – we want Souls of Diotima to exceed every musical expectation you can possibly have – with the songs we are recording now for our new album, and also with the music we are envisioning for future albums.
