Polish death metal legends VADER have recently finished touring Asia. The Band has issued the tour diary for Day 10, read below:
Day 10: Hong Kong (13.07):
Hong Kong was insanely hot! We were greeted by awesome views of mountains and skyscrapers, waterfalls and the harbour on our way into the city but not one single fuck was given. It was seriously way too hot.
Straight to the hotel and immediately it was time to sleep. The long distances were really starting to affect us. We ate something and then it was straight to the venue for soundcheck. It was a very difficult drum kit to set up and tune and the whole soundcheck took around 3 hours or something. We only had a little time –maybe 2 hours- to grab some sleep before returning to the venue to warm up.
The show really woke me up. We had a really nice crowd; a good turn out and very eager to be at Vader’s first performance in Hong Kong! I was so tired that I don’t really remember much about the show itself or what happened after. Another pack down then meet and greet and it was straight to the hotel for maybe another 2 hours rest before the journey to Singapore.
