Metal Shock Finland (World Assault )

France, Paris based black&roll band AZGAAL expands. From the one man band it was last year when we released “A Matter Of Death”, it is now a three pieces.

AGZAAL is lead by the evil mind of Naïwyn. And Naïwyn simply wanted more. He wanted to go on stage. So he needed a band, some equally mentally not stable folks to be with him. That’s why now AGZAAL is a coven made up of three: Naïwyn (voice and guitars) ,Vind (bass) and Mesar (drums).

AZGAAL is about rockin’ black metal, some black and roll. Maybe. It’s definitely so black. So dark. And so fun. And the new unholy born “Vier” tells a lot about the corrupted mind behind this great artistic vision.

Depressive and darky, “Vier” is full of suffering, but also highly entertaining… in a aberrant funny way. Riffs are both heavy and caustic and the fully rocking ideas, added to those introspective leads, amplified by both growls and amazing clean vocals, take the listener to another level, a higher level. An obscure level.

Ten killer tracks: ten prayers to darkness, ten reflections, then journeys. Then pure AZGAAL experiences. Gothic and dark. Rocking and fun (enjoy Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” cover… Azgaal has changed the title and the lyrics… a little…. just a little.)
