RED RACER is three incredibly established performers, producers and songwriters in the form of John Hogg (frontman, drummer), Sean Genockey (Lead Guitars) and Jesse Wood (Bass Guitar).
Red Racer also announced that they’ll undertake the bands first string of live dates around the UK where their ever growing fan-base can hear tracks from “Define” played live for the first time in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham.
Red Racer end the short string of dates at London’s Highbury Garage, for their biggest London headline show to date. Their debut single ‘Put It Out’ is already garnering the band masses of support on the airwaves with plays from Radio 1, BBC London, XFM, Amazing Radio, Team Rock Radio, and is play listed at Kerrang Radio.

“Define” was recorded at the legendary Rancho De La Luna, Joshua Tree, which has been the recording home to the most influential desert rock bands over the last two decades. Red Racer cut the record with wildcard firebrand and leader of Eagles of Death Metal – Jesse Hughes. “Once Hughes turned up at Rancho“, says Hogg, “Things took another turn. The music seemed to absorb his energy. We were hanging out, listening to incredible music, recording these songs, and making the greatest album of our careers“.
Completing the trio some time after recording, and making the group ‘a proper flesh’n’blood thing’, John and guitarist Sean Genockey called up their old friend Jesse Wood (Reef, Mick Jones’ Carbon/Silicon, Ronnie Wood Band) to play bass, and to finally cement the band in delivering a live assault that will be unforgettable.
